This teriyaki pork recipe calls for store-bought sauce but also gives you an option to make your own.
Ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 pork tenderloin (1 pound), cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
Hot cooked rice
Instructions
1Coat the pork
2Place the all-purpose flour in a large resealable bag. Toss in the pork and shake to coat. Editor’s Tip: To reduce plastic use, you can also use a dish and coat the pork by turning it in the flour.
3Brown the meat
4Add the oil to a large skillet and place it on medium heat. Brown the pork on both sides until the juices run clear.
5Simmer in sauce and serve
6Next, add the teriyaki sauce and bring it to a boil. Cook and stir for an additional one to two minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened. Serve the teriyaki pork over rice.
