These air-fryer apple chips are nutritious and delicious. They're the ultimate wholesome, crispy and crunchy snack to serve as an alternative to potato chips.
Instructions
1
Slice the apples
2
Preheat the air fryer to 300°F. Cut the apple into 1/8-inch slices. Discard the seeds, stem and pit. Editor’s Tip: The thinner you cut the apple, the crispier the chips will get. I suggest using a mandoline, but carefully slicing with a sharp knife works too.
3
Arrange the apples
4
Working in batches, lay the apple slices in a single layer in the air-fryer basket and dust with ground cinnamon if desired. Editor’s Tip: Cover the slices with a metal rack or trivet to keep the apples from flying around.
5
Air-fry the apples
6
Air-fry the apple slices for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Editor’s Tip: Keep a close eye on the apple chips as they cook, as cooking times may vary depending on what type of air fryer you use.
7
Enjoy air-fryer apple chips

Once fully cooked, remove the apple chips from the air fryer and let them cool to room temperature. They’ll continue to crisp up as they cool.
