This four-ingredient dijon bacon mustard dip for pretzels takes just minutes to prepare. The combination of tangy, peppery and smoky flavors is perfect for pretzels, but it's just as delicious with veggies, atop chips or spread on sandwiches!
Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup bacon bits or crumbled cooked bacon
1 to 3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
Pretzels or pretzel crisps
Instructions
1Mix the dip ingredients
2In a small bowl, stir the mayonnaise, mustard, bacon and horseradish. Editor's Tip: For fresh bacon crumbles, fry three or four slices until crispy and let them cool to room temperature. Then, use a knife to chop them into small bits and pieces.
3Chill the dip
4Cover the bowl with storage wrap and refrigerate the mustard dip until ready to serve. When it's time to dig in, pair the mustard dip with pretzels or any of your favorite dippers. Editor's Tip: Although you can serve the dip immediately, letting it chill makes it taste even better. Refrigerate it for at least an hour or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
