Just because you're following a low-carb, high-fat keto diet doesn't mean you can't eat your favorite comfort foods. Keto chili has all the protein you're looking for, plus tons of flavor.
Optional: Shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and additional cilantro
Instructions
1Brown the meat
2Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, and cook for seven to nine minutes or until browned. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the meat to a 6-quart or 8-quart slow cooker. Discard all but 1 teaspoon fat from the skillet.
3Saute the onion and garlic
4Add the onion and cook for three to five minutes or until lightly browned. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Transfer the onion and garlic mixture to the slow cooker.
5Cook the chili
6Add the remaining ingredients, except the cilantro, to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for six to eight hours or on high for three to five hours.
7Serve the chili
8Stir in the cilantro. Serve in bowls and top with desired toppings.
