Chicken Ring
Chicken Ring
20 min16 servings

Make this festive, cheesy chicken ring an unconventional part of your family’s next Christmas or holiday menu.

Ingredients
2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
2/3 cup condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup chopped fresh broccoli
1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts
1 can (5 ounces) white chicken, drained, or 3/4 cup cubed cooked chicken
2 tablespoons chopped onion
Instructions
1 Lay out the crescent rolls into a wreath shape
2 Arrange the crescent rolls on a 12-inch pizza pan, forming a ring with the pointed ends of the rolls facing the outer edge of the pan. Make sure the wide ends of each crescent roll overlap.
3 Make the filling
4 Combine the shredded cheese, condensed cream of chicken soup, broccoli, red pepper, water chestnuts, chicken and onion in a bowl.
5 Assemble the wreath
6 Spoon the chicken and veggie mixture over the wide ends of the rolls. Fold the points of each crescent roll over the filling, and tuck the points underneath the wide ends on the inside of the circle. The filling will be visible in between rolls. Editor's Tip: I like to use a cookie scoop instead of a spoon to transfer the filling from the bowl to the wreath. This common baking tool helps to portion the filling evenly around the wreath.
7 Bake the chicken ring at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until it's golden brown.
