Slow-Cooker Cheese Dip
Slow-Cooker Cheese Dip
240 min32 servings

This slow-cooker cheese dip is loaded with beef, sausage and creamy Velveeta. Just toss the ingredients into your Crock Pot, and you’ll have a cheesy dip ready for your next party!

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk spicy pork sausage
2 pounds cubed Velveeta
2 cans (10 ounces each) diced tomatoes and green chiles
Tortilla chip scoops, red pepper and cucumber sticks
Instructions
1 Brown the meat
2 In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and spicy pork sausage over medium heat. Break the meat apart as it cooks, and continue until it’s no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease to keep the dip from getting oily. Once done, transfer the meat to a 3- or 4-quart slow cooker.
3 Add the cheese and tomatoes
4 Next, stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese and the diced tomatoes with green chiles. These ingredients will melt together and create the ultimate cheesy dip. Cover the slow cooker with the lid.
5 Cook the dip
6 Set your slow cooker to low and let the dip cook for 4 to 5 hours. Stir occasionally to make sure the cheese melts evenly and nothing sticks to the sides. Once the cheese is fully melted and the dip is creamy, it’s ready to serve.
