This chicken Caesar wrap may be the best thing to happen to a Caesar salad since croutons. The simple recipe takes the classic salad to new handheld heights.
Ingredients
3/4 cup reduced-fat creamy Caesar salad dressing
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
2 cups torn romaine
3/4 cup Caesar salad croutons, coarsely chopped
6 whole wheat tortillas (8 inches), room temperature
Instructions
1Make the chicken Caesar
2In a large bowl, combine the dressing, cheese, garlic powder and pepper. Add the chicken, romaine and croutons. Fold in the ingredients gently until the dressing is evenly distributed.
3Roll your wraps
4Lay a tortilla on a plate, then spoon 2/3 cup mixture down the center of the tortilla. Fold in each side of the tortilla, then roll it up until the chicken mixture is completely wrapped. Editor's Tip: If the tortillas aren't super pliable, heat them in a pan on the stove or in the microwave for a minute to make folding easier.
