Ingredients
9-1/2 cups (48 ounces) frozen corn
11 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, cubed
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons 2% milk
2 tablespoons sugar
6 slices American cheese, cut into small pieces
Instructions
1Combine the ingredients
2In a 4-or-5 quart slow cooker, combine the frozen corn, cream cheese, butter, water, milk, sugar and American cheese pieces.
3Cook on low
4Cover and cook on low for three to four hours, stirring once halfway through until the mixture is heated through and the cheese is fully melted. Editor’s Tip: If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow some of the liquid to evaporate.
