Ingredients
9-1/2 cups (48 ounces) frozen corn
11 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, cubed
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons 2% milk
2 tablespoons sugar
6 slices American cheese, cut into small pieces
Instructions
1 Combine the ingredients
2 In a 4-or-5 quart slow cooker, combine the frozen corn, cream cheese, butter, water, milk, sugar and American cheese pieces.
3 Cook on low
4 Cover and cook on low for three to four hours, stirring once halfway through until the mixture is heated through and the cheese is fully melted. Editor’s Tip: If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow some of the liquid to evaporate.
