Make slow-cooker apple cobbler for a warm dessert or as a special sweet treat for breakfast.
Ingredients
6 medium apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch wedges
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup dried cranberries
2 cups granola without raisins
Optional: Milk and maple syrup
Instructions
1Combine in a slow cooker
2Place the sliced apples in a greased 3-quart slow cooker. Next, in a microwave, melt the butter and stir in the honey and cinnamon. Drizzle the mixture over the apples. Editor's Tip: For even cooking and texture, do your best to slice the apples into pieces of equal size and thickness. Then, top the apples with the cranberries and granola.
3Cook and serve
4Cook, covered, on low for six to eight hours, until the apples are tender. Serve the cobbler warm, topped with milk and maple syrup if desired.
