Blueberry Mojito
Blueberry Mojito
1 servings

An ice-cold blueberry mojito is the perfect way to beat the heat this summer, whether you're pitmaster or sitting poolside.

Ingredients
8 fresh blueberries
8 fresh mint leaves
1 cup ice cubes
2 ounces white rum
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon simple syrup
4 ounces club soda, chilled
Optional: Lime slice, mint sprig and additional fresh blueberries
Instructions
1 Muddle the mint and blueberries
2 Place the blueberries and the mint leaves in a tall glass. Muddle them with the back of a wooden spoon or a cocktail muddler. Editor's Tip: If you're making traditional Cuban-style mojitos, add superfine sugar to the glass and muddle it with the mint and blueberries. Skip adding the simple syrup in the next step.
3 Build the mojito
4 Add ice to the glass, followed by rum, lime juice and simple syrup. Top the glass with club soda, and gently stir to combine.
5 Add garnishes
6 Garnish with additional mint, a lime slice and a few blueberries.
