Oven-Baked Bone-In Pork Chops
Oven-Baked Bone-In Pork Chops
20 min4 servings

Spice up your week with juicy oven-baked bone-in pork chops that will leave your mouth watering!

Ingredients
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 bone-in pork loin chops (7 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Chopped fresh parsley, optional
Instructions
1 Mix spices and season the pork
2 Preheat oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, combine paprika, salt, pepper and onion powder together. Rub the spice mix over both sides of the pork chops.
3 Brown the pork chops
4 In a large cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Be sure the skillet and oil are hot before adding the pork so you can get a wonderful golden color. Brown the pork chops on both sides.
5 Bake the pork chops
6 Transfer the pork chops to the oven and bake, uncovered, until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat reads 145º, about 20 to 25 minutes.
7 Let stand and serve
8 Let the pork chops stand for 5 minutes before serving; you can tent the pork with foil to keep warm. This will make the pork even more tender and juicy when you slice into it. If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
