If you used Mealime, here is what RecipeMuse can do for your week
Mealime's notice said it would be discontinued as of October 21, 2026, and that all personal data would be deleted when the app was shut down. If you planned your dinners there every week, losing it is a real hassle. This page says what RecipeMuse can do for your week and where it is different.
The notice also points Mealime users to Meals Hub in Albertsons grocery apps. If you shop at those stores, that may suit you well. RecipeMuse isn't tied to any one store.

What you can do with a free account
- Plan a week of dinners. Add recipes to the days you choose.
- Get one shopping list. Ingredients that repeat across meals are merged, the list is sorted into categories, and you can check items off. If you remove a meal from the plan, the list updates.
- Find fast meals. On the web, show only recipes that take 30 minutes or less.
- Use it on the web or on Android.
What is different from Mealime
We would rather you know this before you sign up.
- We can't bring your Mealime data over. Mealime's notice said your data would be deleted, and RecipeMuse has no importer. You start fresh.
- You build the plan by hand. You add recipes to days yourself. There is no "pick your preferences and get a plan" on the free account. Planning by chat with Rosie, our AI assistant, is part of Pro ($4.99 a month). You don't need Pro for anything described above.
- The shopping list is basic. It uses each recipe's full batch with no servings scaling, package sizes can drop off so you may need the recipe open, and you can't add, edit or share items.
- No grocery delivery or ordering. The list is for you to shop from.
- Diet filters are not an allergy guarantee. RecipeMuse has filters such as nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free and sesame-free. Software sets them from each recipe's listed ingredients, nobody checks every recipe by hand, and they can be wrong. They can't see what's in packaged products or account for cross-contact. If you have a food allergy or celiac disease, don't rely on these filters. Read every ingredient and product label yourself.
RecipeMuse is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Mealime, Meals Hub or Albertsons Companies. Those names belong to their owners. We mention them because Mealime's notice said it was closing and pointed users to Meals Hub.
